CIRIN Signs Agreement with Indian Immunologicals:

Munim Sultan Mir, Executive Director of CIRIN signed an agreement with Indian Immunologicals for import of vaccines for Foot & Mouth Disease during his recent visit to India (Mar 23-Apr 01, 2008).

A simple ceremony was held at the IIL headquarters in Hyderabad. Mr. K.V. Balasubramaniam, Managing Director of IIL signed the contract on behalf of his company. Mr. Munim said that Pakistan was looking to the 'white revolution' to cater for growing needs of its own population and then to attend needs of accessible countries. According to him, outbreak of FMD, was a major potential threat challenging the yet nacent industry.

He appreciated the role of IIL, it played in protecting Indian farmers from the potential disaster from FMD outbreak. Mr. Munim expressed desire to replicate a similar model in Pakistan for the benefit of the country. Mr. Balasubramaniam pledged his team's full support to Cirin's endeavor and wished the company well in future.

IIL is one of world's largest producer of vetenary vaccines. The organization is operating as a public concern and subsidiary of Human Biological Institute of India and Indian Dairy Board.

The two organizations also have distribution agreements for human vaccines (Abhayrab) for Pakistan market and animal vaccine is a continuation of their previous successful experience.

March Sales: Yet Another Milestone Achieved

CIRIN is keeping up the fast pace of growth in sales since last twelve months. The company achieved another feat by surpassing its perviously set highest ever sales turnover in the month of March. This achievement was purely due to excellent teamwork and coordination of highest standard amongst different departments.

Sales Director appreciated the efforts of different departments and issued Letters of Appreciation to contributors. He showed satisfaction over the results achived during first quarter of 2008 and said that this brought 'ambitious' target for 2008 well-within-range.
