CIRIN posts 2nd highest growth rate; IMS Reports:

Recently released IMS report for second quarter 2007 declares that CIRIN has posted 2nd highest growth rate amongst top one hundred pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Pakistan.

IMS closely monitors trade sales of major pharmaceutical companies and their brands across Pakistan. Its reporting is highly regarded and is considered authentic by majority of stakeholders.

Abhayrab® Training Sessions

Extensive training programs on Abhayrab® were conducted across Pakistan during the month of Jul, 2007. This was done with an objective to suitably equip field force with in-depth knowledge of the product and its advantage over competition. Timing of this training was correlated with the actual availability of the product in all major cities of the country.

Dr. Tariq Majid, resource person for the training programs, is a seasoned professional and a recognized master trainer. He is also looking after the recently formed biotech division of CIRIN. Feedback from the participants was really encouraging where everybody benefited from their mutual interaction and training material provided.


Such training sessions depict the organization’s conviction not only towards its own products, but also towards members of its Field Force. CIRIN’s management is keen to provide appropriate platform and opportunities to its members for career development and career management activities. This trend will pick up more momentum in future when the company gears itself to target the top spot.

CIRIN and MyBank Partnership: Beginning of a new Era:

Mybank Limited and CIRIN have a decade long history together. It was in the mid nineties that Mybank (then Bolan Bank) Limited took CIRIN onboard as a young but potentially a major player in pharmaceutical industry. Over next ten years this relationship built an exceptionally strong, cordial, and buoyant rapport.

In the year 2007, this partnership has taken yet another extraordinary turn. Both the organizations have developed a high level of understanding and have been able to respond to each others’ requirements; effectively and efficiently. A timely, much thought-out enhancement and upgradation in credit package from MyBank has propelled CIRIN into the league of big ones. The company is now eyeing for the next “B”ig thing in 2008 that will be crossing Rs. 325M mark in sales revenue.

The partnership between CIRIN and Mybank is a clear case of success achieved through sharing information on frequent basis, developing understanding of company’s operations, and respecting each others’ rights & concerns. This partnership is sure to break more records in time to come.

Successful 5th Surveillance Audit:

Quality Management System of CIRIN was recently audited by SGS for the fifth time in three years. This surveillance audit was focused on Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Procurement Departments. Mr. Ashraf Malik, Plant Manager and Management Representative, remained actively involved in the entire process.

In the closing meeting the Mr. Waqas Ali, auditor from SGS, praised team members of CIRIN and told participants that he was impressed with the commitment and awareness level of individuals in various departments. He specifically mentioned the importance of team-play as against one-man-show, and mentioned that it seemed to be hallmark of CIRIN. He declared his audit activity successful and recommended continuation of ISO9001 certification of CIRIN Pharmaceuticals.

The Board of Directors of CIRIN hosted a dinner to honour members of CIRIN for their tireless efforts and absolute commitment, contributing towards company’s improved performance in the 2nd quarter of 2007.

It was personal accomplishment for each and every member of the company. Beaming faces and upbeat mood of the party was evidence to this fact
